biography

Jenz started DJing in 2002 whilst at university in Wales. She co-hosted a show on Swansea’s Xtreme Radio & organised Fusion, a weekly dance music event at the uni, before her first proper set at superclub, Escape. After that she was quickly snapped up as a resident for respected Cardiff brands ROAR and Polysexual Wales, playing alongside the likes of the Tidy Boys, and Radio 1’s Kutski. Since then, Jenz’s DJ highlights have included becoming Tour DJ for Mad Croc energy drink, DJing at FHM’s High St Honeys Tour (2007) and playing for the Ministry of Sound tour in Oxford (2008).

Jenz describes her style as ranging from uplifting and sexy to dark and dirty house music. Whether it’s soulful, funky, electro, tech or progressive house, Jenz can bring any club to life. As well as being a bi-monthly resident at Pews Bar, Guildford, Jenz is part of the Proud Sound DJ Agency.

2009 has been Jenz’s busiest year so far, with bookings for Bloc Beatz at Air Birmingham, Lush Funk in London, Voodoo in Reading, and at Play2 in San Antonio, Ibiza, including appearances alongside The Cut Up Boys, Dave Pearce, and BBC 1Xtra’s Ronnie Herel.

Jenz never fails to impress! Her bubbly personality, precise tune selection, and special mash-up tracks thrown in for good measure ensure she is a crowd favourite. Now attracting the interest of more and more promoters and with her own productions in the pipeline, watch out for this rising star in 2010…
